a piece of mind

" ....they serve the most authentic italian." what if i dont like authentic, what if i only like the hybrid or localized version.

Authenticity doesnt make a food item superior, my tasting bud liking it does. doesnt it?

  1. of course. thats why indo-chinese in Cascade, nungambakkam is way better than any authentic Chinese in America.

    I dont think US particularly offers authentic Chinese, Italian or some such cuisine either.
    Saya: Does Sangeetha offer Indo-Italian as well? Right now I am craving the parotta with specific masala made in half litre of oil from sarvana Bhavan:)
    Soin: Egjactly, i mean i like the original Italian pizza but what i dont like is these peter's expectation that i need to like it.

  5. I don't like the authentic Italian pasta that is cooked "al dente". Prefer them my way. Pizzas OK. You spoke my mind. I say the exact same thing to my husband all the time.

  6. sangeetha la ennamo oru chinese kdakkum.. jora ennai manja podi pottu. en friend andha noodles mattum thaan sapduva.. tastes nice.

    ohhh.. andha kothu porotta aa.. never really loved that.. i am craving for meals.

  8. Authentic Italian food is awesome! But of course its upto the person whether they like it or not.
    I dont like Indo-chinese :--S I guess it was not really popular when I was in India haha.
